Fixes
Clipped Opening Audio on Inbound Desk-Phone Calls
What Was Happening
When an inbound call was answered on a registered desk phone, the caller could miss the first second or so of the agent's greeting.
What's Resolved
Agent and caller audio now connect immediately when the call is answered on a desk phone, so no opening speech is lost. This improvement currently applies to desk-phone calls; extending the same improvement to web and softphone answering is being evaluated as a future update.
Calls Going Silent During AI-Assisted Transfers
What Was Happening
During certain AI-assisted call transfers, the transfer announcement could fail to play. When this happened, the caller was left in silence and the call never completed the transfer, requiring the caller to hang up.
What's Resolved
Safeguards have been added to detect and automatically recover from this condition, so affected calls no longer get stuck in silence and complete the transfer as expected.
Reversed Comparison Operators in Bot Builder Transition Logic
What Was Happening
Comparison conditions such as less-than and greater-than in a transition logic element were evaluated backwards, which could send a conversation down the wrong path.
What's Resolved
Comparison operators in transition logic now evaluate correctly, so conversations follow the intended path.
"Save as Variable" Could Not Be Cleared in Bot Builder
What Was Happening
Once a variable was assigned to an input element via "Save as variable," it could not be removed or cleared.
What's Resolved
Variables assigned via "Save as variable" can now be cleared as expected.
Text Color Could Not Be Applied Before Typing in Bot Builder
What Was Happening
Selecting a text color before typing had no effect. Color could only be applied by typing the text first, then selecting and applying the color afterward.
What's Resolved
Text color selections now apply correctly whether made before or after typing.
Multiple Image Attachments Not Retained in Shared Inbox SMS Conversations
What Was Happening
Adding image attachments to an SMS conversation one at a time would replace the previously added image instead of keeping both.
What's Resolved
Multiple images can now be attached individually to an SMS conversation without replacing previously added images.
