Steps to Factory Reset

From the IVR Menu

This will walk you through Factory Resetting an ATA 402 device via the onboard IVR menu. This requires an analog phone to be plugged into the Phone 1 port on the device.
 

1. From the attached phone, dial *** to connect to the device IVR menu.
    
2. Dial 8 to restore to Factory Default settings
    
3. The device will prompt for IVR PW.  If you do not know the device password, use the pinhole method.
    
4. Press 1 to confirm device should restore to its factory default settings.
    
5. The device will reboot and reset to factory settings.
    

Pinhole Reset

1. With the device powered on, turn it over.
    
2. Using a push pin or similar object, push and hold the reset button down for 10 seconds.
   
   
    
3. After 10 seconds, release the button.
    
4. The device will reboot and reset to factory settings.
