Factory Reset an Algo 8301 PA

The device can be reset either by using the pinhole reset button or through the WebUI. Resetting through the WebUI will keep any uploaded audio files and schedules while resetting all other parameters.
Pinhole Reset
- Locate a needle-sized Reset hole on the side panel of the unit next to the Ethernet connection.
- Unplug the power cable or Ethernet cable (if using PoE) and wait 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power or Ethernet cable and wait for the SIP light to blink.
- Insert a pin into the reset hole and press until the SIP light begins to double-blink.
- Take out the pin.
The device should reboot. If it does not, repeat steps 1–5, waiting longer at step 2.
All unit settings are restored to factory settings
Reset through WebUI
- Obtain the IP address of the device.
- Plug a headset into the 3.5mm jack labeled AUX OUT.
- Using a pin, press the Reset button.
The device will announce its IP address through the headset.
- Press the Reset button again to stop the playback.
- Plug a headset into the 3.5mm jack labeled AUX OUT.
- On a computer on the same network as the phone, open a web browser. The phone has to be on the same local network as the computer for this to work.
- Navigate to:
https://[device IP address](e.g.,https://10.1.10.127). - Log in to the device. The default password is algo.
- Select the System tab.
- Select the Maintenance sub-tab.
- Click Restore Defaults.
