Steps to Factory Reset
The GXW 4200 series can be reset either via a pinhole reset button or through the IVR menu.
Pinhole Reset Button
- Unplug the Ethernet cable from the device.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Locate the pinhole reset button in the back near the power connection
- Use a pin and press the button for a minimum of 10 seconds
- Release the button
- Replace the Ethernet cable.
- The device should reboot and return to factory settings
If the device does NOT reboot, repeat the steps, adding additional time to step 4.
Using the IVR system
By default, GXW 4200 devices auto-provisioned to Nextiva do not have their IVR system enabled. If you would like this enabled, submit a case to the support team indicating the MAC address of the device(s) you would like the IVR enabled.
- Dial *** to access the settings menu.
- Enter 099 and wait for the "reset" voice prompt
- Enter the encoded MAC address
- Wait 15 seconds for the device to reboot and restore factory settings
