Setting up your Nextiva X-8XX series phone

Provisioning Instructions
- Upon booting the phone for the first time, you will be presented with a selection of the language the phone will use. Select the preferred language by using the 5-way navigation pad. Press the center button to select.
- On the following screen, select the Time Zone.
- On the following screen, select the desired color scheme.
- The phone will then present the message Welcome! Press a key to log on.
- Press the Settings
button.
- Select Information, then select System Info.
- The following screen will display the IP Address and MAC Address of the device.
- Before proceeding, ensure that the MAC Address has been added to your account and the device has been assigned to a user.
- On a computer on the same network as the phone, open a web browser. The phone has to be on the same local network as the computer for this to work. Navigate to https://[device IP address] (i.e. https://10.1.10.127).
You may need to enable the Web interface to access this page:
- Press the Settings
button.
- Select Network.
- Select Webserver.
- Enable Webserver by pressing the ✓ button.
- Press the Settings
- By default, the device has no username or password required to log in.
- On the left-hand menu under Setup, click Advanced. Then click Update in the upper-right corner.
- Enter the provisioning address in the Setting URL section.
- Click the Apply button below. Then click Reboot at the top of the page > Yes. The device should provision and register.

Troubleshooting
If the phone does not auto-provision, check the following:
- Is the MAC address correct on the account?
- Is the device type correct on the account?
- Is the Server Address entered correctly?
- No typos.
- No spaces at the beginning or end.
- No typos.
- Adjust the DNS Server.
- Nextiva recommends using Google's DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
