Nextiva vFAX Print Client (Windows)

Description

The Nextiva vFAX Print Client is a Windows-based print-to-fax driver that enables you to fax directly from any Windows application. This tool works on Windows 10 and 11.

NOTE: This feature is not HIPAA compliant.
 

Installation Steps

1. Click here to download the Fax Client setup utility.
    
2. Extract the ZIP file.
    
3. Run the setup program inside the extracted folder.
    
4. After installation, a shortcut called Nextiva vFAX will appear on your desktop.
    
5. A printer named Nextiva vFAX will be installed on your system. This printer can be used from any document, such as Microsoft Word.
    
6. On the first launch, you will be prompted for the Service Provider, which is fax.nextiva.com.
    
7. Click Validate to confirm services are online.
    
8. Enter your Username and Password, then answer the Security Question.
    
9. Click Submit.
    
10. Open a document to fax, and select Print.
    
    You can now use the Nextiva vFax printer to send faxes from Windows applications such as MS Word.
     

Troubleshooting

If the vFAX Print Client does not appear in your list of available printers, reboot your computer to allow the new printer to finish installing. If there is an issue installing the print client, you may need to log in to the computer as the local administrator.
