Factory Reset Steps

These devices can be factory reset either from the device or the web interface.

Factory Reset from Device

  1. Press the HOME button on the silver 5-way navigational button on the phone.
     
  2. Select Settings from the menu.
     
  3. Scroll down and select Change Level from the menu to sign in as an administrator for the phone.
     
  4. Enter admin as the User ID and adminpass as the Password, and then press the Enter softkey at the bottom of the screen or the ENTER key on the 5-way.
     
  5. Scroll down and select Reset from the menu.
     
  6. Select Exclude Private Settings from the menu.
     
  7. Confirm you want to factory reset the phone by selecting Yes at the bottom of the screen. After a few seconds, the phone will automatically reboot.
     

 


 

Factory Reset from WebUI

  1. Enable the WebUI
     
    1. Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
       
    2. Select the Settings softkey at the bottom of the window.
       
    3. Using the silver 5-way navigation pad at the bottom of the phone, scroll down to Network Settings and press the ENTER key on the navigational pad.
       
    4. Scroll down to the Embedded Web option and press ENTER. Embedded Web should now show ON.
       
  2. Obtain the IP address
     
    1. Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
       
    2. Select the Settings softkey at the bottom of the window.
       
    3. Scroll to Information Display and press ENTER.
       
    4. Scroll down to find the IP address.
       
  3. On a computer on the same network as the phone, type the IP address into a browser.
     
  4. Enter the username and password
     
    • Username: admin
       
    • Password: adminpass
       
  5. Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the page.

  6. Click Reset & Restart on the left-hand side of the page.

  7. Click Reset below the option Factory Reset, the second option from the bottom.

  8. In the window that appears, click OK to confirm factory reset.
