Factory Reset Steps
These devices can be factory reset either from the device or the web interface.
Factory Reset from Device
- Press the HOME button on the silver 5-way navigational button on the phone.
- Select Settings from the menu.
- Scroll down and select Change Level from the menu to sign in as an administrator for the phone.
- Enter admin as the User ID and adminpass as the Password, and then press the Enter softkey at the bottom of the screen or the ENTER key on the 5-way.
- Scroll down and select Reset from the menu.
- Select Exclude Private Settings from the menu.
- Confirm you want to factory reset the phone by selecting Yes at the bottom of the screen. After a few seconds, the phone will automatically reboot.
Factory Reset from WebUI
- Enable the WebUI
- Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
- Select the Settings softkey at the bottom of the window.
- Using the silver 5-way navigation pad at the bottom of the phone, scroll down to Network Settings and press the ENTER key on the navigational pad.
- Scroll down to the Embedded Web option and press ENTER. Embedded Web should now show ON.
- Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
- Obtain the IP address
- Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
- Select the Settings softkey at the bottom of the window.
- Scroll to Information Display and press ENTER.
- Scroll down to find the IP address.
- Press the HOME button on the bottom of the phone.
- On a computer on the same network as the phone, type the IP address into a browser.
- Enter the username and password
- Username: admin
- Password: adminpass
- Username: admin
- Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the page.
- Click Reset & Restart on the left-hand side of the page.
- Click Reset below the option Factory Reset, the second option from the bottom.
- In the window that appears, click OK to confirm factory reset.
