These steps should be followed if the Yealink device does not have a profile available in the account portal and has to be added as a generic SIP device.  If the device does have a profile in the portal, click here for steps to auto-provision the device.

 

  1. Obtain the IP address of the phone
     
    1. Press the OK key on the phone.
       
    2. Note the IP address from the device.
       
  2. On a computer on the same network as the phone, open a browser and navigate to the IP address of the phone.

    NOTE: If the web interface of Yealink phone says "this site can't be reached". Go to Menu > Settings> Advanced Setting > Network > Webserver Type and enable the HTTP/HTTPS.
     
  3. Log in as an administrator, the default credentials are below:
     
    • Username: admin
       
    • Password: admin
       
  1. Select the Account tab
     

  2. Make sure Line Active is Enabled.
     

  3. Fill Label and Display Name.
     

  4. Register Name will be the SIP Authentication Name.

  5. User Name will be the SIP Username

    Note: If you are configuring a device to be a Shared Call Appearance, this will be the Line/Port.

  6. Password will be the SIP Password.
     
  7. Enable Outbound Proxy Server should be Enabled
     

  8. Outbound Proxy Server will be same as Domain name which is prod.voipdnsservers.com
     

  9. Transport should be TCP.
     

  10. Server Host should be prod.voipdnsservers.com
     

  11. Click on Confirm then refresh the page
     

  12. Confirm Register Status is Registered
