Nextiva X-8xx - Manage Local Directory

Add A Contact

1. Press the Directory softkey.
   
   
2. Select the Add Contact softkey.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter a phone number for the contact
   
   
   
   
4. Press the Save softkey.
   
   
   
   
5. Scroll up to the Name field and press the Edit softkey.
   
   
   
   
6. Select First Name.
   
   
   
   
7. Enter the first name of the contact, use the Edit Mode softkey to change between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers.
   
   
   
   
8. Press the Check button on the phone.
   
   
9. Select Last Name.
   
   
   
   
10. Enter the last name of the contact, use the Edit Mode softkey to change between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers.
    
    
    
    
11. Press the Check button on the phone.
    
    
12. Press the X button on the phone to go back to the main contact page.
    
    
    
    
13. Press the Save softkey.
    
    

Edit a Contact

1. Press the Directory softkey.
   
   
2. Select the contact to edit.
   
   
   
   
3. Press the Details softkey.
   
   
   
   
4. Highlight the field to modify and press the Edit softkey.
   
   
   
   NOTE: If changing the name, you will have to select either first or last name to make the change.
   
   
   
   
5. After making the changes, press the Save softkey.
   
   

Delete a Contact

1. Press the Directory softkey.
   
   
2. Select the contact to delete.
   
   
   
   
3. Press the Delete softkey.
   
   
   
   
4. Press the Yes softkey or Check button on the phone to confirm.
