Setting Static IP On Nextiva Phone

Before proceeding with setting a static IP address on your device, confirm with your network administrator that the IP address you plan to assign is available to use.

 

Follow these steps to set a static IP address on your device:

 

  1. Press the Settings button.

    NOTE: If the screen displays the message: “Welcome, press any key to login,” press the Settings button twice.
     
  2. Select Network

  3. Select IP Settings

  4. Select IPv4

  5. DHCP will be enabled by default. Press the middle selection button to disable DHCP

  7. Scroll down to IPv4 and press the selection button to edit.

  8. Type in the IP address.

    To input a period, press the Edit Mode softkey to select lowercase abc and press 1.
     
  9. Press the Check button to save the changes.
     
  10. Repeat steps 6 through 8 for each field on the page.
     
  11. After all fields have been entered, press the X button several times to navigate back to the home/idle screen.
     
  12. If the phone did not automatically reboot, it will need to be rebooted manually.
