If you are having trouble calling a number from your Nextiva phone there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem.
- If you are hearing an error message "Nextiva delivered your call but it can`t be completed. Your number has been declined by the call party or a switching carrier" this indicates your number may be flagged as SPAM. Click here for instructions on how to address this.
- Confirm you can call the number from a non-Nextiva phone, such as your cell phone.
- If your cell phone also fails to call the number, the issue is likely something the owner of the number needs to fix.
- Ensure your network meets our Networking Guidelines.
- Missing firewall rules or SIP ALG can cause calls to fail.

- If your network meets our guidelines and you are still having issues calling out, get examples of failure that are less than two days old and contact Nextiva support. Our support team will confirm your network meets our guidelines and review the call examples to isolate and resolve the issue.
