Deregistration

Deregistration occurs when a device loses its connection to the Nextiva servers. This is most often caused by network settings interfering with the communication between Nextiva and the phone.
Troubleshooting
- Determine if this affects only one device or multiple devices.
- If all devices review our Networking Guidelines and if necessary, make adjustments to your network
- If one device proceed to step 2.

- Ensure the device is assigned to a user on your account by searching for the MAC address on the devices page..
- If the device is NOT assigned to a user, assign it to the correct user and reboot the device.
- If the device is assigned to a user proceed to step 3.
- If the device is NOT assigned to a user, assign it to the correct user and reboot the device.
- Check to see if the device has an IP address.
- If the device does NOT have an IP address, see No IP Address on Device.
- If the device has an IP address, review our Networking Guidelines and if necessary, make adjustments to your network
- If the device does NOT have an IP address, see No IP Address on Device.
- If after checking your network against our guidelines you are still having issues, contact Nextiva Support for further troubleshooting. Our support team will double-check your network with you, so ensure you have access to your network equipment.
