Set up the Poly Rove

The Poly Rove series is a cordless DECT phone series that allows for multi-cell pairing of bases and handsets.  When setting up for multi-cell use, the primary base needs to be provisioned to Nextiva first.  Once the primary cell is provisioned, the secondary bases can be provisioned.  It is important to ensure the secondary bases are provisioned to ensure that all the bases in the multi-cell configuration are on the same firmware.

1. Obtain the IP address of the base unit.
   
   
   1. From a paired handset, press the menu key.  Click here for instructions to pair a handset to the base.
      
      
   2. Dial *47*
      
      
   3. A screen will display the MAC and IP address of the connected base.
      
      
2. On a computer on the same network as the phone, open a web browser. The phone has to be on the same local network as the computer for this to work. 
   
   
3. Navigate to https://[device IP address] (i.e. https://10.1.10.127).
   
   
4. When prompted, enter the login credentials. The default credentials are:
   
   
   • Username: admin
   • Password: admin
     
     
5. If you have already changed the default password, skip to step 7; otherwise, enter a new admin password.
   
   
6. Log in with the new admin password.
   
   NOTE: You may need to refresh the page to view the login prompt again.
   
   
7. Select System Management from the menu on the left-hand side.
   
   
8. Select the Auto Provisioning sub-menu option.
   
   
9. Scroll down and uncheck the Default box for the ProvisioningOption setting.
   
   
10. Select ConfigURL in the dropdown for ProvisioningOption.
    
    
11. Uncheck the box for the ConfigURL field (you may need to scroll down further to see it).
    
    
12. Use the table below to determine what URL should be placed in the ConfigURL field.

13. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
    
    
14. Click Reboot at the top of the page.
    
    
15. The device will reboot and start the provisioning process.
