Poly Edge - WiFi Setup

The following Edge series devices support WiFi:

• Edge E350
• Edge E450
• Edge E550
   

WiFi Setup

WiFi setup should be done without an ethernet cable plugged in. If you wish to use the phone on WiFi, a power supply unit should be used instead of power over Ethernet.
 

1. Open the settings menu by pressing the button that looks like a house on the phone.
    
2. Scroll down and select WiFi.
   
   
    
3. To enable WiFi, press the right direction button, followed by the Save softkey. If WiFi is already enabled, skip to step 6.
   
   
   
   
4. Select Reboot to finish enabling WiFi.
   
   
    
5. Return to the WiFi menu by pressing the Home button and selecting WiFi from the settings menu.
   
   
    
6. Press the Scan softkey to look for available networks.
   
   
    
7. Highlight the network to connect to and press the Connect softkey.
   
   
    
8. Set the Security to the correct option if it isn't already configured.
   
   
    
9. In the Passphrase field, type the code to access the network. 
   
   Use the Encoding softkey to change between character types (uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers). To enter special characters, set encoding to either uppercase or lowercase letters and use the 1, #, *, or 0 keys.
   
   
    
10. Press the Connect softkey.
    
    
     
11. The phone will attempt to connect to the network, and once successful, will display a success message.
