The EM50 adds 3 pages of 30 additional keys to the VVX450. Due to a hardware issue with the VVX450, the VVX450 needs to be Revision E or higher.
For the sidecar to power up the VVX450 either needs to utilize the AC power adapter or IEEE 802.3(af/at) PoE.
The sidecar is plug-and-play, though our configuration of the VVX450 requires that all line keys on the VVX450 be filled before the sidecar will be utilized. Nextiva support can mirror the user's line keys until all 12 lines are filled on the VVX 450, pushing the BLF onto the sidecar.
