Poly Voyager Focus 2 Setup

Before trying to configure a headset, check Nextiva Headset and Device Compatibility to confirm the headset will work with the device you are using.

Pair the BT700 with the headset

The BT700 that comes with the headset should already be paired to the Voyager Focus 2; however, if a separate dongle is purchased, it will need to be paired to the headset. To pair the BT700 with the Voyager Focus 2, you will need a computer.

  1. On the computer, download and install the Poly Lens App
  2. Plug in the BT700 Bluetooth dongle to a USB port on the computer.
  3. Open the Poly Lens App.
  4. Click on the BT700 dongle.
  5. Update the dongle if there is an available update.

  6. Click Pair New Device.

  7. To indicate pairing mode, the dongle will flash red and blue.
  8. On the Voyager Focus 2, push the power switch up (towards the Bluetooth symbol) and hold it for about 5 seconds until the lights around the headset flash.
  9. The dongle and headset will connect.

Poly VVX X50

The VVX 150 is not compatible with this device as it does not have a USB port.

 

USB Connection

  1. Ensure the BT700 is paired to the Voyager Focus 2.
  2. Plug the BT700 dongle into the USB port on the phone.
  3. The phone should recognize the device as a headset.

Poly CCX 500

Bluetooth

  1. Open the device menu by tapping the 3 lines in the upper left-hand side of the screen
  2. Tap the Bluetooth option.
  3. Tap the Bluetooth Radio option and confirm it is set to on.
  4. Press the back arrow towards the bottom of the screen
  5. Tap Manage BT Devices.
  6. Tap Pair new device.
  7. On the Voyager Focus 2, push the power switch up (towards the Bluetooth symbol) and hold until the lights around the rim flash red and blue, about 5 seconds.
  8. On the CCX 500, select Poly FOCUS2 Series.
  9. The headset should now be paired

USB Connection

  1. Ensure the BT700 is paired to the Voyager Focus 2.
  2. Plug the BT700 dongle into the USB port on the phone.
  3. The phone should recognize the device as a headset.

Poly Edge E X00

USB Connection

Because the Edge E does NOT have a USB-A port, a USB-C to USB-A adapter will need to be purchased separately.  Otherwise, this device cannot be connected.
 

  1. Ensure the BT700 is paired to the Voyager Focus 2.
  2. Plug the BT700 dongle into the USB port on the phone.
  3. The phone should recognize the device as a headset.

Poly Edge Ex20 and Ex50

Bluetooth

  1. From the phone menu, scroll down and select Bluetooth.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled by selecting Bluetooth and choosing the on option.
  3. On the Voyager Focus 2, push the power switch up (towards the Bluetooth symbol) and hold until the lights around the rim flash red and blue, about 5 seconds.
  4. Touch the earpiece with the microphone against the screen of the Edge phone
  5. Press the Connect softkey on the phone.
  6. The headset should be paired to the phone.

The Yealink T33G does not have a USB port.
 

  1. Ensure the BT700 is paired to the Voyager Focus 2.
  2. Plug the BT700 dongle into the USB port on the phone.
  3. The phone should recognize the device as a headset.
