The T54W device screen provides several buttons to navigate more features:

Line keys (marked with the yellow arrows) allow for multiple configurations to perform different actions such as monitoring other extensions (busy lamp field), custom call parking, and simultaneous call management (line mirroring)

Soft keys (highlighted in green) give contextual options depending on how you interact with the phone.  When idle, the soft keys offer generic options such as Call History, DND (Do Not Disturb), or the Settings menu.  During a live call, the soft keys change to offer more call control (transfer, hold, etc).

 

Below are steps to both transfer a call and start a 3-way conference call.


Transfer Steps

The T54W is capable of both a blind (cold) and attended (warm) transfer.

Blind Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer soft key during the call.

  2. Dial the number/extension you wish to transfer to.
     
  3. Press the B Transfer soft key to complete

Warm Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer soft key during the call.

  2. Dial the number or extension you wish to transfer to.
     
  3. Press the Call soft key.

  4. Once the third party answers and is ready to receive the transfer, press the Transfer soft key.

Conference Call

  1. Press the Conf soft key during the live call
     
  2. Dial the number or extension.
     
  3. Press the Send soft key
     
  4. To join/merge the calls once everyone is ready, press the Conf soft key again.
     
  5. Select the End Call soft key to disconnect all parties or the Split soft key to separate the calls again.
