Separate Calls

To use the handset separate from the base, line mirroring needs to be configured.  The handset can use any free line instance to make calls.  If the handset is using the primary line instance on the desk phone, you will need to select a line instance that is not in use on the desk phone to dial out.

Move a call to the desk phone

You can move a call from a handset to the desk phone by following these steps:

1. Place the call on hold on the handset.
   
   
2. Press the line key that is in use on the desk phone.
   
   
   
   
3. The call will be active on the desk phone.
   
   

Move a call to a handset

You can move a call from the desk phone to a handset by following these steps:

1. Place the call on hold on the desk phone.
   
   
2. Open the menu of the handset.
   
   
3. Select Status.
   
   
4. Select Line Status.
   
   
5. Select Retrieve.
   
   
6. The call will be active on the handset.
