Cisco CP Series - Connecting a Bluetooth Headset

The following Cisco phones Nextiva sells have built-in Bluetooth:
- CP 8845
- CP 8861
- CP 8865
Enable or Disable Bluetooth
- Press the settings button on the phone.
- Scroll down and select the Bluetooth option.
- With the Bluetooth option highlighted, use the left and right buttons to toggle Bluetooth on or off and press Set.
- You can confirm Bluetooth is enabled on the home screen by the empty Bluetooth icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device
Once Bluetooth is enabled, follow these steps to pair a Bluetooth device to the phone.
- Press the settings button on the phone.
- Scroll down and select the Bluetooth option.
- Select the Devices option.
- Ensure the device you wish to connect is in pairing and press the Scan softkey.
- The phone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- One the list populates, highlight the Bluetooth device to pair to and press the Connect softkey.
- The phone will connect to the device.
- You can tell if a device is connected by the white Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the home screen. If the icon is NOT filled in white, nothing is connected.
Connect to a Paired Device
- Press the settings button on the phone.
- Scroll down and select the Bluetooth option.
- Select the Devices option.
- Highlight the paired device and press the Connect softkey.
Delete a Paired Device
- Press the settings button on the phone.
- Scroll down and select the Bluetooth option.
- Select the Devices option.
- Highlight the paired device and press the Option softkey.
- Scroll down and select Delete.
- The phone will ask for confirmation, press the Delete softkey to confirm.
