Set up your Cisco CP Series Phone

Please note you need to have purchased a model number ending in 3PCC or 3PW, as these are the only models sold that can be provisioned to a third-party system.

 

Setting up via the Web Interface (WebUI)

  1. To find the IP Address of the device, you will start by selecting the image.png button (Settings).
     
  2. Select Status.
     
  3. Select Network Status.

  4. Select IPv4 status.
     
  5. The IP Address will be listed to the right of IP address.
     
  6. Navigate to the IP address of the phone obtained above in the web browser of a computer on the same network.
     
  7. Use the initial password entered - if no password is entered, it will take you right to the WEBUI.
     
  8. Click Admin Login in the upper-right corner of the window. Then click Advanced.

  9. Click the Voice tab in the upper-left corner of the window. Then click Provisioning.

  10. Enter the provisioning server in the Profile Rule text entry field. See the profile rules section for the specific rule for your device.

  11. Select Submit All Changes at the bottom.
     

 


 

Setting up via the Phone Menu

  1. Select the image.png button (Settings).
     
  2. Select Device Administration.
     
  3. Select Profile Rule.
     
  4. Enter the provisioning server address. See the profile rules section for the specific rule for your device.
     
NOTE: All but the $ symbol can be accessed through the 1 key. The # key is where the $ is located. These server addresses are case-sensitive.
