Panasonic TGP 500/550 - Handset Registration/Deregistration

How do I pair a handset to the Panasonic KX-TGP500 or the KX-TGP550 base station?

Handset Registration

1. On the base unit hold the All button until the status light flashes red (approximately 4 seconds).
2. On the handset, press and hold the OK softkey until the screen updates to say Please Wait... (approximately 4 seconds).
3. The handset will then display Registered and will go to its home screen with the handset number in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Handset Deregistration

From Handset

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Type #131
3. Type 335 and press OK.
4. Select the desired handset to deregister.
5. Select Yes.

From Base Unit (TGP 550)

1. Press and hold the All button until the registration tone sounds and the STATUS indicator flashes red.
2. Press and hold the handset number to deregister.
3. Once a confirmation tone sounds, release the number.
4. The handset is deregistered.
