Factory Reset Steps for the Base Unit


The sections below walk through how to reset the TGP600 base unit.  To reset a specific handset see this section.
 

From the Handset

Use the steps below to factory reset the device from a TPA60 handset.
 

  1. Press the Menu softkey (middle softkey).
     
  2. Select System Settings from the main menu.
     
  3. Type #136 on the keypad.
     
  4. Select Yes.
     
  5. The unit will begin to factory reset.
     

 

From the WebUI

  1. Get the IP address of the phone.
     
    1. Press the Menu softkey on a TPA 60 handset paired to the base.
       
    2. Scroll and select System Settings.
       
    3. Scroll and select Status.
       
    4. Scroll and select IPv4 Settings.
       
    5. Scroll and select IP Address.
       
  2. Turn on the web interface.
     
    1. Press the Menu softkey on a TPA 60 handset paired to the base.
       
    2. Scroll and select Setting Handset.
       
    3. Scroll and select Other Option.
       
    4. Scroll and select Embedded Web.
       
    5. Select On.
       
  3. On a computer on the same network as the phone open a browser and navigate to the IP address of the phone.
     
  4. Log in using these credentials:
     
    • Username: admin
       
    • Password: adminpass
       
  5. Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the page.

  6. Click Reset to Defaults on the left side of the screen.

  7. Click Reset to Carrier Defaults in the middle of the screen.

  8. Click OK when the pop-up message appears asking if you are sure you want to reset the settings.
     
  9. The device will reset to factory.
     

Factory Reset a TPA60 Handset

  1. Power off the handset.
     
  2. Power on the handset.
     
  3. When the screen turns White, press and hold the TALK button for 10 seconds.
     
  4. Release the TALK button and press the left softkey and then dial 81.
     
  5. Press OK to enter Maintenance Mode.
     
  6. Select Reset Handset.
     
  7. Select OK.
     
  8. Power off -> power on the handset.
