Panasonic TGP 600 - Handset Registration/Deregistration

How do I pair/register a handset to the Panasonic KX-TGP600 base station?

Handset Registration

Unregistered Device

1. On the base unit hold the Handset locator button until the status light flashes red (approximately 5 seconds).
    
2. On the handset, press and hold the OK softkey until the screen updates to say Please Wait... (approximately 4 seconds).
    
3. The handset will then display Registered and will go to its home screen with the handset number in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Device already registered to a different base

1. On the base unit hold the Handset locator button until the status light flashes red (approximately 5 seconds).
    
2. On the handset, press the Menu button.
    
3. Select Setting Handset.
    
4. Select System Option.
    
5. Select Register Handset.
    
6. Select a base unit.
    
7. After Registered is displayed on the LCD, the registration is complete.
    

Handset Deregistration

1. On the handset to deregister, press the Menu button.
    
2. Select Setting Handset.
    
3. Select System Option.
    
4. Select Cancel Base.
    
5. Select the base unit to disconnect from.
    
6. Select Yes to confirm.
