Yealink CP935W - Factory Reset Guide

The steps to reset the CP935W vary depending on if the device is in WiFi or DECT mode.  You must select the mode the device is operating in after factory resetting it.


WiFi Mode

 

From the Device Menu

From the WebUI

  1. Press More.
     
  2. Select Advanced.
     
  3. Enter the password for the base (by default this is 0000).
     
  4. Select Reset Config.
     
  5. Select Reset to Factory Settings.
     
  6. Select Reset.
     
  7. Select OK to confirm the device reset.
     
  8. The phone will reboot.
     
  1. Obtain the IP address of the device.
     
    1. Select More.
       
    2. Select Status.
       
    3. Select General.
       
    4. The IP address will be displayed on the screen.
       
  2. Log in as an administrator.  The default credentials are below:
     
    • Username: admin
    • Password: admin
       
  3. Select the Settings tab.
     
  4. Select Upgrade.
     
  5. Click Reset to Factory Settings.
     

 


DECT Mode

In DECT mode, the CP935W can either factory reset itself, or can factory reset the W70B base unit it is paired to.  These steps assume the CP935W is paired to a W70B and is not operating in WiFi mode.
 

Factory Reset CP935W

Reset the W70B Base

  1. Press More.
     
  2. Select Advanced.
     
  3. Enter the password for the base (by default this is 0000).
     
  4. Select Reset.
     
  5. Select Handset Reset.
     
  6. Press OK.
     
  7. The CP735W will reset.
     
  1. Press More.
     
  2. Select Advanced.
     
  3. Enter the password for the base (by default this is 0000).
     
  4. Select Reset.
     
  5. Select Base Reset.
     
  6. Press OK.
     
  7. The W70B will reset.
