Steps to Factory Reset
The device can be reset from either the WebUI, from a handset, or from the base.
From the WebUI
- From a handset paired to the base, press the OK key in the middle of the directional pad to open the menu.
- Select the Status option.
- Select the option for Base.
- The IP address will be displayed on the screen.
- On a computer on the same network as the phone, open a web browser. The phone has to be on the same local network as the computer for this to work.
- Navigate to https://[device IP address] (i.e. https://10.1.10.127).
- Log in to the WebUI, the default credentials are
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
- Username: admin
- Click Settings on the left-hand side of the page.
- Click Upgrade.
- Click Reset to Factory Settings.
- In the confirmation window that appears, click OK.
- The device will reboot and reset to factory settings.
From a Handset
- Press the center button on the directional pad to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and select System Settings.
- Scroll down and select Base Reset.
- Enter the PIN, by default this is 0000.
- Select Reset to factory.
- Press the Yes softkey to reset settings.
- The device will reboot and reset to factory settings.
From the Base
- Unplug the power supply.
- Long press the Paging button, do not release.
- Plug the power supply into the base.
- Watch the LED indicator lights until they all light up.
- Release the Paging button.
- Wait about 5 minutes.
- Reboot the base by unplugging the power for 15 seconds, then plugging it in again.
