Direct Connection
It is recommended to first plug in the repeater near the base unit to make the pairing process easier, then move the repeater to where it is needed.
- Ensure the repeater is powered on.
- Ensure repeater mode is turned on for the base.
- From a handset, press the OK button to open the menu.
- Choose System Settings.
- Choose Repeater Mode and ensure it's enabled.
- From a handset, press the OK button to open the menu.
- From the W70B base unit, press and hold the Signal Button for 3 seconds.
- The repeater will be automatically looking for a base unit and the DECT LED will flash orange when it begins to pair.
- Once the DECT LED turns solid green or solid orange the registration is successful.
NOTE: A solid orange DECT LED indicates a poor connection to the base unit, attempt to move the repeater closer to the base until the DECT light turns green to avoid connection issues.
Cascade Registration
To further extend the range two repeaters can be paired together. This limits to 2 repeaters maximum.
- Using the Direct Connection instructions connect one repeater to the W70B base unit.
- Ensure the second repeater is powered on.
- From the unit that was connected to the base, press the Program key for about 3 seconds until the Power LED turns orange and the DECT LED flashes green.
- Pairing is successful when the Power LED turns green and the DECT LED turns solid orange/green on both repeaters.
Repeater Deregistration
- Unplug the repeater.
- Hold down the Program button on the repeater.
- While holding the Program button down, plug the repeater in.
- Continue to hold the Program button down until the three LEDs turn RED.
- When the DECT LED flashes red the repeater has successfully deregistered.
