Troubleshooting

If the phone does not have a generic profile double-check the firmware version.  We have found that older versions of firmware only have a MSTeams or Skype profile and they will need to be upgraded to a more recent version (8.2.1 confirmed working).

If the phone does not auto-provision check the following:

  • Is the MAC address correct on the account?

  • Is the device type correct on the account?

  • Is the device assigned to a user on the account?

  • Is the Server Type set correctly?

  • Is the Server Address entered correctly?

    • No typos.

    • No spaces at the beginning or end.

  • Is Tag SN to UA enabled?

  • Adjust the DNS Server
