Poly VVX Series - Set DNS Server

DNS can be changed either from the web interface or from the device.

From WebUI

1. Hover the mouse over Settings at the top of the page, hover over Network, and select Ethernet.
   
   
    
2. Click on General.
   
   
3. Fill out the following fields
   
   
    
   • DNS Server - 8.8.8.8
      
   • DNS Alternate Server - 8.8.4.4
      
4. Click Save.
    

From the Device

1. Press the Home button.
    
2. Navigate to Settings.
   
   
    
3. Select Advanced.
   
   
    
4. Enter the admin password.  By default, it is 456.
   
   
    
5. Select Administration Settings.
   
   
    
6. Select Network Configuration.
   
   
    
7. Scroll down and select DNS Server.
   
   
    
8. Enter 008.008.008.008 the phone will automatically enter the . mark.
   
   
    
9. Press OK.
    
10. Select DNS Alt Server.
     
11. Enter 008.008.004.004 the phone will automatically enter the . mark.
    
    
     
12. Press the Back softkey.
     
13. Choose Save config.
