Unity - Conferencing

Unity is a call control application, not a softphone. It is used to control the primary device assigned to your user in the Nextiva voice portal.  It cannot make calls on its own.

When wanting to create a conference, you will need to be on an active call with other calls either on hold or already in a conference. Once you are ready to bring your callers together, click the conference button.

You can also add another party to your conference. You will want to place your conference on hold by clicking any of the conferenced callers and clicking the Hold button. After, click the Dial button to call out to another party. Once the call is connected, click the conference button again. This will cause a prompt to display, asking if you would like to add your third caller to the conference. Hit Yes, and the caller will be added.
