System Requirements

Nextiva currently supports version 8.9.3 of the desktop application. This can be updated through the application settings.

NOTE: The desktop application is only for computers running Windows OS. Those running macOS can still use the web versions. Be aware, there are some limitations to the web-based version of Unity.  For links to access the web version and more information about the limitations, click here.

  • Unity will require approximately 500MB of hard drive space on the local machine

  • By default the install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Unity Client

  • Minimum computer spec: CPU: dual core 3GHz. Ram: 4GB. Video Card: 256MB onboard RAM. As a general note, the requirements to run Unity Agent are considerably less than those required to run Windows

  • Unity can be rolled out as an MSI file, which supports Active Directory group profiles

  • Unity is only supported on Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11

  • Both 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows are supported. There are no special permissions required to install Unity
