Call Recording - Control Recording during a Call

If you have call recording configured to control call recording on a call, you can follow these steps to start, pause, resume, and stop recordings.  For customers using NextivaONE on the desktop or web version, you can control this through the call controls if the feature is enabled on your user.

 

  1. Place the other party on hold.

  2. Open a second line and dial the appropriate feature access code.  See the table below for a list of codes to use.

  3. You will hear a system-generated message; let it play until it disconnects the second call.

  4. Resume your original call.

Start Recording*44Starts recording an ongoing call or the next outgoing call.  The user’s Call Recording service must be set to On Demand or On Demand with User Initiated Start; otherwise, dialing the code has no effect.
Stop Recording*45Stops recording a call.  This option is only available in the On Demand with User Initiated Start mode.
Pause Recording*48Pauses the recording of a call.  This option is not available in the Always recording mode.
Resume Recording*49Resume call recording after it has been paused.  This option is not available in the Always recording mode.
