Remote Office allows you to use an alternate number such as a mobile or home phone number as the user's office number. This feature requires an enterprise or ultimate upgrade to use.

Inbound Calls

Remote office causes all inbound calls to be forwarded to an external number.  The Nextiva phones assigned to the user will NOT ring while remote office is active.

Unlike simultaneous ring or sequential ring, remote office does forward calls from call groups and call centers.

Outbound Calls

In order to make an outbound call with remote office, the mobile version of the Nextiva app is needed to make the outbound call show the business caller ID.

Some adjustment needs to be made to the mobile app to ensure remote office is used when dialing out.

  1. In the mobile app open the menu and select Call Settings.
