Authority Sets are essential if you want to create a customized user profile. This user profile will be visible in Authorities. Authorities are where you assign users rights to access different areas within the Nextiva UI. The Authority Set you create will also be visible on the Users tab, where you can assign the custom profile to a user.

Authority Sets contain groups of authorities to be used by a particular user profile. This helps the customization of different profiles by adding different authorities. You must access the User Profiles object to see the set of authorities a profile has. A user can only have one profile specified in their User object.

Creating an Authority Set

Search for the Authorities Set icon on the options menu. Click Plus (+) and fill out the required information (name and description). Click Save.
