Nextiva Contact Center: Public Keys

In the Nextiva platform, a Public Key encrypts tenant files into an unreadable format before uploading them to a tenant file server. Decryption is carried out by the tenant using a different but matching private key. Public and private keys are paired to enable secure communication.

Creating a Public Key

Search for Public Key in the options menu. Click Plus (+) and fill out the required information. Click Save. 

Information Tab

Field Name	Description
Name	The name of the public key.
Description	A description of the public key.
Recipient	The public key recipient/username provided by the tenant.
File	Upload the public key file provided by the tenant.
