Nextiva NEXT - Hubspot Setup Guide

Overview

Use this guide to install and connect HubSpot from the NEXT Marketplace.

The HubSpot integration uses OAuth 2.0. During installation, you will:

• Configure a redirect URL in HubSpot

• Enter your Client ID and Client Secret

• Sign in to authorize the connection

Before You Begin

Ensure the following:

• You have HubSpot Super Admin access.

• You can access the HubSpot Developer Portal.

• You have created (or can create) a HubSpot app.

• You have NEXT App Marketplace install permissions.

• You have secure storage for the Client Secret.

Important:
The Client Secret is only displayed once in HubSpot. Save it securely before leaving the page.

Install Hubspot in NEXT

Step 1: Open the App in App Marketplace

1. Navigate to App Marketplace.

2. Select HubSpot.

3. Select Install.

1. Accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.

2. Select Next.

Step 2: Configure Redirect URL in Hubspot

On the Connect your account screen:

1. Select Copy redirect URL.

2. Log in to HubSpot Developer Portal.

3. Open your HubSpot app.

4. Navigate to the Auth settings.

5. Paste the redirect URL into the Redirect URLs field.

6. Save the app.

Warning:
The redirect URL must match exactly. Any mismatch will cause OAuth authorization to fail.

Step 3: Enter Connection Details

On the Connection Details section, enter:

Client ID

1. In HubSpot Developer Portal, open your app.

2. Navigate to:
   Development → Legacy Apps → Your App → Auth

3. Copy the Client ID.

4. Paste it into the Client ID field in NEXT.

Client Secret

1. In the same HubSpot app, copy the Client Secret.

2. Paste it into the Client Secret field in NEXT.

Warning:
HubSpot hides the Client Secret after you leave the screen. Store it securely.

Connect

After entering both fields:

1. Select Connect.

2. Select Next.

Step 4: Sign in to Hubspot

You will be redirected to HubSpot.

1. Log in (if prompted).

2. Review the requested permissions.

3. Select Connect app.

You will be redirected back to NEXT.

Installation Complete

If successful, you will see:

Installation Complete

Select:

• Done to exit, or

• Manage apps to review the integration.

Verify the Connection

After installation:

1. Navigate to App Marketplace/Manage Apps → HubSpot.

2. Confirm the status shows Active.

3. Create or update a test contact in NEXT.

4. Confirm it appears in HubSpot.

Troubleshooting

Oauth Authorization Failed

• Confirm the redirect URL is configured correctly.

• Verify the Client ID and Client Secret are correct.

• Ensure you are logged in as a Super Admin.

Records Not Syncing

• Confirm the app includes required CRM scopes.

• Verify the correct HubSpot portal is connected.

• Reauthorize the integration if prompted.
