Overview

Use this guide to install and connect the Pipedrive integration from the NEXT Marketplace.

The Pipedrive integration uses an API token for authentication. During installation, you will paste your Pipedrive API token into NEXT to complete the connection.

Before You Begin

Ensure the following:

  • You have Pipedrive company admin access.

  • You can access your Pipedrive API token.

  • You have permission to install apps in the NEXT Marketplace.

Important:
The API token must belong to a Pipedrive user with access to the deals, contacts, and pipelines you want to sync.

Install Pipedrive in NEXT

Step 1: Open the App in Marketplace

  1. Select App marketplace in the left navigation.

  2. Select Pipedrive.

  3. Select Install.

 

You will see a confirmation screen titled:

You are about to add Pipedrive for NEXT

  1. Select the checkbox to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.

  2. Select Next.

 

Enter Connection Details

On the Connection Details screen, you will see one required field:

API token

  1. Log in to Pipedrive.

  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → Personal → API

  3. Copy your API token.

  4. Return to NEXT.

  5. Paste the API token into the API token field.

  6. Select Connect.

  7. Select Next.

 

Note:
The API token is found under Personal settings in Pipedrive. It is user-specific.

Installation Complete

If the API token is valid, you will see:

Installation Complete

The summary displays enabled features, such as:

  • Contact Synchronization

    • Lookup Pipedrive contacts

    • Manage Pipedrive contacts

  • Ticket Management

    • Manage Pipedrive tickets

Select:

  • Done to exit, or

  • Manage apps to review the integration.

Verify the Connection

After installation:

  1. Select App marketplace in the left navigation, then select Manage apps.

  2. Select Pipedrive.

  3. Confirm the status shows Active.

  4. Create or update a test contact or deal in NEXT.

  5. Confirm the record appears in Pipedrive.

Troubleshooting

Invalid API token

  • Confirm you copied the full API token.

  • Ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces.

  • Verify the token belongs to the correct Pipedrive company.

Records not syncing

  • Confirm the API token user has access to the relevant pipeline.

  • Verify the integration status is Active in Manage Apps.

  • Reinstall or reconnect if necessary.

Token rotated or revoked

If the API token changes:

  1. Generate or retrieve the new API token in Pipedrive.

  2. Select App marketplace in the left navigation, then select Manage apps.

  3. Select Pipedrive.

  4. Update the API token.

  5. Reconnect the integration.
