Next to the Add Contact button, select the ellipses menu. Choose Import Contacts.

You can import from all three sources by repeating these steps.
-
-
Open the downloaded spreadsheet from your browser's downloads folder, or move it to a preferred location on your computer.
-
Fill in the contact information using the columns in the spreadsheet. If you have existing data, ensure the column headers match and the file is saved as a CSV before uploading.
-
Hover over the Import from CSV file option and select the blue Upload button.
-
Drag and drop the CSV file into the upload window.
-
Select Next in the bottom right corner.
-
Toggle the Public option ON if you want the imported contacts to be visible to your team.
-
Map the fields on the right side. If you used the NEXT template, the fields should already match.
-
Select the blue Import button in the bottom right corner.
-
Choose how to handle duplicate contacts — select Skip duplicates or Replace — then select Start Importing.
-
The import progress screen appears. You can close this window or wait for the success message.
-
Select View details from the Contact Import Success message, or close the window. Your contacts now appear in the contacts list.
-
If you made these contacts Public, they cannot be changed back to Private. You must delete and re-import them to make the list private.
-
Google Contacts or O365 Contacts Import
NEXT can sync with Google Contacts or Office 365 Contacts. Contacts synced into NEXT are private by default — you must manually change each contact to Public after import if needed.
-
In the left navigation, select Favorites, then select Contacts.
-
Next to the Add Contact button, select the ellipses menu. Choose Import Contacts.
-
Select Google Contacts or Office 365 People. You can import from all three sources by repeating these steps.
-
Select the provider you want to use.
-
If your contacts are not in Google Contacts or O365, export them as a CSV and use the Import from CSV file option instead.
-
-
Select Next in the bottom right corner.
-
A warning message appears confirming that imported contacts will default to Private.
-
Select the Sign in button and enter your Google or O365 credentials.
-
When prompted, select Next to allow access to your name and email address.
-
Select Allow when asked to permit Nextiva to see and download your contacts.
-
Once the sync completes and the Allow dialog closes, select the gray X or Cancel to exit.
-
Allow a few minutes for all contacts to appear. To confirm the connection, select Import contacts and check the Connected accounts tab.
Re-sync Your Google or Office 365 Contacts
If your contacts are not syncing correctly, use the steps below to force a re-sync.

-
After 5–10 minutes, search for a recently synced contact to verify the sync was successful.

The Connected accounts tab disappears if you had only one account connected, or displays your remaining account.
