Overview

Use this guide to install and connect the ServiceTitan integration from the NEXT Marketplace.

The ServiceTitan integration brings your field service operations directly into the NEXT platform. Xbert AI Employees can create and manage service appointments, look up and create customer contacts, and handle the full job lifecycle — from creation through cancellation and notes — without manual data entry.

Note: A ServiceTitan account is required to use this integration. The ServiceTitan integration is compatible with Xbert AI only.

Before You Begin

Ensure the following:

  • You have an active ServiceTitan account.

  • You have created an API application in ServiceTitan and have your Client ID and Client secret.

  • You have permission to install apps in the NEXT Marketplace.

Important: ServiceTitan uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials for authentication. You must generate a Client ID and Client secret from your ServiceTitan Developer account before completing the Connect step.

Install ServiceTitan in NEXT

Step 1: Open the App in Marketplace

  1. Select App marketplace in the left navigation.

  2. Select ServiceTitan.

  3. Select Install.

Troubleshooting

Invalid Client ID or Client secret

  • Confirm you copied both values from the correct ServiceTitan API application without extra spaces.

  • If the Client secret has expired or been regenerated, retrieve the new value from your ServiceTitan Developer account and reconnect.

Authentication fails at token request

Integration status not showing Active

  • Return to App marketplace → Manage apps and check if the connection shows an error state.

  • Select ServiceTitan and re-enter the Client ID and Client secret.

  • Reconnect the integration.

Appointments, contacts, or jobs not syncing

  • Verify the Client ID belongs to a ServiceTitan API application with access to the relevant tenant and job types.

  • Confirm the Base URL is set to https://api-integration.servicetitan.io.

  • Reconnect the integration if necessary.
