Nextiva CX - Creating an Organizer Rule

- Log into Nextiva CX from nextiva.com.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Organizer.
- Select the + Create button.
- Give your rule a clear and descriptive name so you can easily identify it later.
- Select the Workspace where you want this rule to apply. This ensures that the rule only affects interactions from the channels connected to that specific workspace.
- Configure Rule Options (Optional)
- Fast Assignment: If enabled, this speeds up case assignment to workbaskets, but accuracy might be slightly reduced if you receive a high volume of messages at once.
- Add Priority to Rule: Use this if you have multiple rules that could apply to the same interaction. The rule with higher priority will take precedence.

- Enter the Rule Activity Time. The rule could always be on or could be on for a customized number of hours.
- Define the "If This, Then That" Logic
- Enter the If This, Then That Rule. The Organizer creates rules by automating an action if a specific situation occurs
- IF: Enter a Rule for the Following Source. Select the source of the interaction from the drop down. For example, chat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Once selected, select Add.
- Enter the If This, Then That Rule. The Organizer creates rules by automating an action if a specific situation occurs
- Once you select add, additional information will appear asking what kind of action from that source should elicit a response. For example, Message contains a specific word.
- To add additional interactions from the channel, select Add Rule and enter more requirements for the rule.
- Select Add Group instead of Add Rule to provide an option to not include a specific interaction. For example, Message does not contain a specific word.
- Continue adding additional sources and the type of interaction until all have been added.
- THEN: Add an Action to be applied if the above situation occurs. Enter the action that should occur if the information occurs.
- Select the drop-down to select the action. There are several actions that can be selected. For more information on rule actions, click here.
- Select Add once the action has been selected.
- Additional information will appear based on the action type you selected. For example, if you select Alert Users, a list of the Users you could alert will appear.
- Continue adding actions until all actions have been added.
- Once complete, select Save.
