Nextiva CX - Twilio
Twilio is a messaging app that helps your business provide customers with customer support, engage in two-way messages, send appointment reminders, launch marketing campaigns, and more.
Connecting Twilio with NextivaCX

From the onboarding screen, select messaging apps.

Select Connect Messaging Apps.

Twilio will be found as an integration option. Select the Twilio tile.

A pop-up will appear asking you to provide information about your Twilio Account. The Twilio information is found on the Twilio home page and through settings. For additional information on locating the requested information below, please refer to the locating Twilio Information section.

Name - Enter the name you would like to call the connected Twilio account.

Registered Phone Number - Enter the phone number assigned by the Twilio account. This is found on the Twilio homepage of the develop page.

Service SID - Enter the Service SID. This is used to authenticate the Twilio Service. This is found by selecting the Twilio Message Service ID. Click here for steps to locate this.

Account SID - The Account SID is used to authenticate the Twilio Account. Enter the Account SID found on the Twilio homepage of the develop page. Click here for steps to locate this.

Access Token - The access token is used to allow access to Twilio’s services through other platforms. This is found on the homepage of the develop page.

Once all information is entered, copy the webhook and enter it into your Twilio account. To do this, follow the steps below.

Navigate to Twilio.

Select Monitor (Left Hand Navigation).

Select Logs.

Select Errors.
-
Choose Webhook. Paste the link above.

Navigate back to NextivaCX.

Select Verify and Save located at the bottom of the popup.
Locating the Twilio Information
Finding the Account SID, Access Token, and Phone Number

Log in to your Twilio account: https://console.twilio.com.

On the home page in the develop section, you can find Account SID, Auth Token (called Access Token in NextivaCX), and Phone Number.
Finding the Service SID

In Twilio, select Messaging (Left Hand Navigation).

Go to Services.

Select your Service Name.

Copy the Message Service ID. This is your Service SID.
