NextivaONE - Calendar and Meetings

Calendar

NextivaONE includes a calendar tool for scheduling meetings. The application can pull and read data from Outlook or Google calendars; however, it cannot currently push or write to those integrated calendars.
 

Integrate with an External Calendar

  1. Click the Calendar icon on the right-hand side of the page.

  2. Click the expand button at the top-right of the panel.

  3. On the left-hand side of the calendar page, click + Add a calendar.

  4. Select Google or Outlook.


     
  5. Click the Next button.

  6. Click the Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft button.
     
     
  7. In the pop-up window that appears, sign in to your account.

  8. Confirm permissions for NextivaONE to access your calendar.
     

The linked calendar will be displayed on the left-hand side of the calendar page.

Remove an Integrated External Calendar

  1. Click the Calendar icon on the right-hand side of the page.

  2. Click the Expand button at the top-right of the panel.

  3. On the left-hand side of the calendar window, hover over the calendar you want to remove and click the X that appears.

  4. Click the red Disconnect button on the pop-up that appears.

  5. A message appears at the bottom of the window indicating the calendar was disconnected.

Schedule a Meeting

Currently, no notification appears for scheduled meetings.

 

To create a meeting:

 

  1. Click the Calendar icon on the right-hand side of the page

  2. Click the + (Plus) icon in the top right-hand corner of the calendar side panel.



  3. Enter a title.
  4. Configure remaining meeting options:

  5. Click Create.
     

Meeting Options

Date, Time, and Recurrence

Select a date, time, and recurrence for the meeting. Recurrence options include:

 

  • One-time meeting
  • Daily
  • Every weekday (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekly (Once a week on the day of the Date you have selected)
  • Monthly (On the same week and day of the Date you have selected)
  • Yearly (On the Date you have selected)
  • Custom (Allows you to repeat the meeting every X days, where X can be 1-10)

Editing Recurring Meetings

 

  1. Recurring meetings can be edited in NextivaONE by selecting one of the future occurrences, then clicking Edit.

  2. You can edit the event with the following options
    1. This event
    2. This and all following events
    3. All events in the series

Participants

 

Search for teammates, or enter the email address of people who will be invited to attend this meeting.

Invitations

Clicking on the Invite participants to join you in Nextiva Meetings will cause an event to appear on the calendar of invited participants.

 

Click the arrow to the right of this option to expand and show meeting information. It will also provide the join link, meeting ID, and dial-in information for the meeting.
 


Location and Details

 

  • Location: Enter the meeting location if scheduling outside NextivaONE.

  • Details: Add any additional information about the meeting.


Advanced Options

The more information section allows you to adjust additional meeting options.

General

 

  • Allow start before host joins: Participants can join before the host.

  • Record meeting automatically: The entire meeting will be recorded.

  • Add co-hosts: Assign co-hosts before the meeting starts.

Guest Requirements

 

  • Allow only host/co-host to accept guests: Only the host or co-host can admit guests to the meeting

  • Allow all teammates to accept guests: Any teammate in the meeting can accept guests
     
  • Automatically accept guests: Any guest joining will be automatically allowed to join

A scheduled meeting has the same features as a video call. See Video calling and Screen Sharing for more information.
