NextivaONE - Presence

The presence indicator allows you to quickly see teammate statuses within NextivaONE.  The color of the dot at the bottom right of their avatar indicates their status.

By default, this status updates automatically when on a call or in a meeting; however, the status can be manually changed and isn't a guarantee that a person is not on a call.

 

Setting Presence Status  

1. Click your avatar in the upper right-hand corner.
   
   
    
2. Click the line that indicates your current status.
   
   
    
3. Select a new presence, and/or set a status message.
   
   
    

Do Not Disturb

Setting your status to Do Not Disturb will cause all incoming notifications on NextivaONE to be silenced and phone calls will not pop up. NOTE: Calls will route according to your Busy forwarding, for example, voicemail. 

Do not disturb can be set for a specific amount of time or indefinitely.
 

1. Click on your avatar in the upper right-hand corner.
   
   
    
2. Click the line that indicates your current status.

5. Select Do not disturb.
   
   
    
6. Select the amount of time to remain in do not disturb.  Use Custom to set a date and time for when Do Not Disturb will be disabled.
   
   
    
7. Click Save.
   
   
    

Finding Presence

A teammate's presence can be identified in several locations.
 

Presence in Conversations and Rooms

For one-on-one conversations, you can easily see the presence of the other party from the conversation pane.



For Rooms and multi-party conversations, you will have to go into the conversation to see the presence of all participants.
 

1. Click into the Conversation or Room.
    
2. Click either View group details for Conversation or View room details for Rooms
   
   
    
3. Click Participants in the middle of the panel.
   
   
    
4. The participants will be listed along with their presence status.
   
   

Finding Presence from the Contacts Panel

1. Click the contacts button on the right-hand side of the window.
   
   
2. Set the filter to show only teammates.
    
   1. Clicking on the dropdown option next to Recent Contacts.
       
   2. Click Teammates.
      
      
       
3. Search for the teammate using the search bar.
   
   
    
4. All matching teammates will appear, and their presence will be shown next to their name.
   
   

Presence Status

Icon Color	Status	Description
	Offline	This teammate is signed out of NextivaONE.
	Available	This teammate is signed in and available
	Away	This teammate is signed in but is away from their computer.  This will trigger if the computer is idle for more than 10 minutes.  The status will return to available once the NexitvaONE application is the active application.
	Busy	This teammate is signed in but is on a call or in a meeting.
	Do not Disturb	This teammate is set to Do Not Disturb and will NOT be notified of any messages or calls.
