NextivaONE - Mini View
NextivaONE users have the option to switch to a streamlined iteration of the regular product, known as "Mini View." Mini View is specifically tailored to cater primarily to core users who rely on the application for their every day calling activities. In its initial version, Mini View will encompass call-related features, voicemail functionality, contact management, ACD support for call centers, and presence settings.
Enable Mini View
- From the NextivaONE app in Standard View, click on the Switch to Mini View button on the top right-hand corner of the application.
- The application will resize itself to mini view.
Disable Mini View
If you attempt to view information that is not available in mini view the application will prompt with a request to change to standard view.
If you want to exit the mini view on your own:
- From the NextivaONE application in mini view, click the Switch to standard view button in the upper right-hand corner.
- The application will resize to the standard view.
Mini View Functions
The NextivaONE mini view currently supports the following areas that are similar to the standard view:
- Home Tab: Shows the list of call logs and voicemail in order of recency. The unread tab shows the missed calls and unopened voicemails. The global search on this screen enables users to search for saved contacts or type new numbers to make calls directly by clicking on the phone icon.
- Calls Tab: Shows the call logs in order of recency. The unread tab allows you to view any missed calls.
- Messaging Tab: Shows text messages. The unread tab allows you to view any unread texts.
- Voicemail Tab: Shows all voicemails in order of recency. The unread tab allows you to view any new voicemail.
- Contacts Tab: Shows the list of contacts in alphabetical order.
Call Details
In the mini-view, tapping on a call will provide more details about that specific call.
Contacts and Contact Profile
Users can add new contacts to their contact list by clicking on the add new contact button. Editing existing contacts and adding unsaved numbers to existing contacts are not supported in mini view at this time:
The profile view in Mini View provides more information about the contact with the last 3 recent calls and voicemail-related activities. The users can also choose to move to Standard View from here by clicking on “View more about this contact” to see the history of conversation with the contact.
Presence
Mini View also supports the presence settings capability to enable the users to set up or edit their presence settings as they would do in Standard View. The presence settings made in the Mini View will be persisted to Standard View and vice versa
Notifications
Notifications will continue to behave just like Standard View and will list all the notifications irrespective of the capability being supported by Mini View or not. However, for the capabilities that are not supported by Mini View, the user will be prompted to switch to Standard View to see those records in detail. E.g. a calendar event notification will prompt the user to move to Standard View and will take the user to the calendar to view more info about the event
Mini View Limitations
Mini view's current focus is on call functionality, as such the following will require switching to standard view to accomplish:
- Team Collaboration (Rooms and team chats)
- Calendar
- Meetings
- Integration
- Editing Contacts
Also, conversations with a contact will only show call history when in mini view. To see messages you will need to click the messages tab. To see the full conversation history, you will need to switch to standard view.
