Video meeting recording is a recording of a video meeting from participant perspective, including screen share and video tiles.
Where can I find my recordings?
Video meeting recording is available in Files > Recordings section, after the recording is completed. Participants also get notifications in the bell icon and email with the link to the new recording.
What is the file format for a video recording?
The resulting video file format is mov. The name formatting is: <Meeting name>+<ddmmyyyy hh:mm>+id.mov or Meeting+<ddmmyyyy hh:mm>+id.mov
What is the current recording limit?
The current limit for recordings is 3 hours
How long are the recordings stored?
The recordings are stored for 30 days and are automatically deleted after. You will receive an email notification to download recordings before they expire 15, 5, and 2 days before the expiration date.
Why can’t I start a recording?
Only the meeting host or co-host can start and stop recording.
What if the host leaves while recording?
When a host or co-host who is recording a meeting attempts to leave, they will be prompted to either stop recording or continue recording the meeting.
If they choose Continue recording, the meeting will be recorded until it ends or the maximum recording lenght has been reached.
If they choose Stop now the recording will stop.
