NextivaONE - Click to Dial

With NextivaONE, you can click a phone number in a browser and have the desktop application initiate an outbound call to that number. This feature only calls through the NextivaONE desktop app and is not compatible with the web-based browser version of the app or the Push Call to another device feature.
Requirements
- TEL protocol is used on the number.
- Currently, the NextivaONE app does not support CALLTO protocol.
- Currently, the NextivaONE app does not support CALLTO protocol.
- The web browser being used does not block pop-ups.
Windows Setup
Windows 10
- In the Start menu search for and open Default apps.
- Within the settings window scroll down and select Choose default apps by protocol.
- Scroll down until you find the TEL: protocol.
- Select the NextivaONE application.
- The setting should save automatically.
Windows 11
- In the Start menu search for and open Default Apps.
- In the search bar, enter TEL.
- If NextivaONE is not listed in the service, click on the service.
- Select Nextiva from the list of options.
- Click Set default.
MacOS Setup
- Open the Mac Finder (CMD + Space is a shortcut to do this).
- Search for Facetime.
- Open Facetime Settings.
NOTE: If Settings are greyed out, you must sign in using an Apple ID to access.
- Change the Default for Calls option to Nextiva.
- If using Chrome, when you click to dial it will prompt you to select Nextiva when calling now.
Using Click to Dial
- On a website, hover over a clickable number and confirm in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser the tel: prefix is showing.
- Click on the number to open a pop-up window.
- Select NextivaONE to initiate a call to that number through the NextivaONE desktop app.
