NextivaONE - Files (Attachments, Recordings, and Links)

What are Files?

Files are comprised of three components: Attachments, Recordings, and Links. Files sent within Rooms and Conversations will be tracked in the Global Files tab and individually in the Room or Conversation in which they were sent.
 

Global Files

• Global Files can be found by clicking on Files (Paperclip) on the right side in NextivaONE.
   
• After clicking Files, you can select Attachments, Recordings, or Links from the sub-tabs.
   

Attachments

1. Click the paper clip icon in the chat box.
   
    
    
2. Select a file to send, and click Open.
   
   
    
3. The file will appear in the chat box.
   
    
    
4. Type any additional text to be sent with the attachment, and press Enter.
    
5. The message and the attachment will be sent to the room.
    

Recordings

Currently, we are unable to record conference calls through a chat room or conversation.
 

• Meetings scheduled through NextivaONE can be recorded. These recordings can be found by using the Global Files directory and navigating to Recordings.
   

Links

Currently, attachments only stores links sent with a header of “http://” or “https://” other links will be clickable, but will NOT appear in the links section of attachments.
 

1. Paste or type a link in the chat box.
    
2. Send the message.
    
3. Any recognized links sent in the chat will be listed in the room/conversation Files and the Global Files.
    

Viewing Files in a Room or Conversation

1. From the Room or Conversation click View room/conversation details in the upper left-hand corner of the chat room.
   
   
    
2. Click the tab that looks like a paper clip on the left.
   
    
    
3. Click the desired file type section to expand it.
   
   
    
4. All files sent in this conversation/room will be displayed here for easy access.
   
   
    

File Preview

Files can now be previewed (without downloading) in both the Global File list and the Conversation and Room file lists. Anywhere you see the list of files, you can click the thumbnail to preview that file. This includes meeting recordings, which can be listened to through the app without downloading.
 

1. Hover over the file thumbnail.
   
   
    
2. Click Open Preview.
