How to Download and Set Up the NextivaONE Mobile App for Business Communication

The mobile version of NextivaONE allows you to keep your business line with you on your mobile device. You can stay connected with your customers through both voice and text, no matter where you are.

Download the App

You can download the NextivaONE mobile app for free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

 

System Requirements

Android Devices: Android 8 or higher

iOS Devices: iOS version 18 or higher

 

NOTE: The app cannot be downloaded outside of the U.S. market.

First Time Launch

There are several steps you need to take the first time you launch the application

 

  1. Accept the NextivaONE license agreement.

  2. Enter your device's phone number.

    NOTE: This is to help with some of the advanced calling features.

  3. Sign in.

  4. Give permissions to the app.  Not all permissions are required; however, denying permission may limit some features of the app. For optimal functionality, Nextiva recommends enabling all permissions.

    AndroidiOS
    • Camera - Optional. Take pictures to attach to messages within the app
    • Contacts - Optional. Call or message contacts saved locally on the phone
    • Record Audio/Microphone - Optional. Allow you to be heard on phone calls.
    • Nearby Devices - Optional. Gives the app the ability to use Bluetooth devices.
    • Notifications - Optional. Receive notifications of both inbound calls and text messages.
    • Make and manage phone calls - Not required
    • Music and Audio - Optional. Send files as attachments.
    • Contacts - Optional. Call or message contacts saved locally on the phone
    • Photos - Optional. Attach photos already on your device to messages
    • Local Network - Required. Utilize wifi connections to run the app (not required for iOS 18.1 and beyond)
    • Microphone - Optional. Allow you to be heard on phone calls.
    • Camera - Optional. Take photos and attach them to messages.
    • Notifications - Optional. Receive notifications of both inbound calls and text messages.
    • Background App Refresh - Optional. Receive updates/data while the app is in the background.
    • Cellular Data - Required. Connect to your cellular data network (not required for iOS 18.1 and beyond)
