Assign a Device to a User

These steps walk through how to assign a device to a user on an account. The device should already be added to the account. See Add a Device for instructions on how to add a new device to the account.
Choose the image that looks most like your screen once logged in:

Setup

1. Log in to the NextOS portal as an administrator.
    
2. Hover over Users at the top of the page and click on Manage Users.
    
3. Click on the user to assign the device to.
    
4. Scroll down and click on the Device section to expand it.
   
   
    
5. If the device is already on the account, select it from the Available Devices drop-down menu.
    
6. If the device is NOT on the account, select the Add Device option and select the type of device, and enter the MAC address.
    
7. Generate an Authentication Name and Password.
    
8. Click Save.
