An authorized user is a person who has been authorized by the account owner or business to act on behalf of the account owner or business regarding the account. An account can have multiple authorized users. The owner, the accounting team, and IT support can all be examples of users who may need authorized access to the account.

An authorized user is permitted full privileges and access to information regarding the account, including the ability to add other authorized users, alter the setup, or terminate services, for example.

Adding Authorized Users

The account owner, or an existing authorized user can add additional authorized users at any time using one of the options below.

Option 1

Nextiva may provide you with an Authorization Form that may be completed by the account owner or authorized user listed on the account. This form should be emailed to Nextiva Support by the authorized user who filled out the form.

Click here to access the authorization form.

Option 2

Contact Nextiva support and request that a new authorized user be added to your account.  You will need to provide the first name, last name, email address, contact phone number, and a security PIN for the new authorized user.

Option 3

If the user is already created on your account, you can give them an admin role or mark them as authorized on their user profile.

Choose the image that looks most like your screen once logged in:
