Set Extension Length

By default, all locations are created with a mandatory 4 digit extension length. Extensions can be reduced to as few as 2 digits and as many as 6 digits.   Nextiva recommends at least 3 digits for minimum extension length.
Choose the image that looks most like your screen once logged in:

Setup

1. From the platform voice administrator portal, click Company & Locations on the left-hand side.
    
2. Select the Locations Tab.
    
3. Hover over the location to configure Music on Hold on and click the vertical ellipses on the right-hand side then click Voice Settings.
   
    NOTE: There must be a user who has gone through voice setup on the location, otherwise Voice Settings will NOT be present.
   
   
    
4. Select Extension Dialing under the voice settings options.
   
   
    
5. Adjust the extension range and default length to the desired value.
    
6. Click Save.
